Child Health and Diseases
Pediatrics, also known as Child Health and Diseases, is the branch of medicine concerned with diagnosing, monitoring, and treating individuals from birth to adolescence. Pediatricians oversee the congenital diseases, vaccination schedules, mental, physical, and motor development of children aged 0–18. Regular check-ups assess various aspects such as height, weight, nutrition, daily life skills, cognitive and neurological development, and psychological growth. Pediatricians undergo six years of medical education followed by four years of specialty training. Pediatrics also encompasses various subfields where further specialization is possible.
Services Offered in Pediatrics:
Pediatric Surgery
Pediatric surgeons complete six years of medical training and an additional five years in pediatric surgery. They perform both open and minimally invasive (laparoscopic and thoracoscopic) surgeries.
